The Opening is a gentle, low-pressure group for anyone curious about changing their relationship with substances. Whether you’re sober-curious, committed, or somewhere in between, this group offers support, reflection, and a safe space to come as you are.

The Opening is a gentle, low-pressure group for anyone curious about changing their relationship with substances. Whether you’re sober-curious, committed, or somewhere in between, this group offers support, reflection, and a safe space to come as you are.

Who is this group for? 

Adults (ages 18+) who are curious about changing their relationship with substances and would like a supportive, low-pressure space to reflect, connect, and explore what that change could look like. 

Substances are defined as alcohol, cannabis, prescription medications, amphetamines, opioids, or any another substance you are looking to redefine the regular consumption of in your life. 

This group is open to individuals who identify as sober-curious, committed to sobriety, or somewhere in between. Participants are encouraged to attend the full cycle of the group to support continuity, trust, and therapeutic benefit.

This group is not appropriate for individuals under the age of 18, those experiencing acute crisis, active suicidal ideation, unmanaged withdrawal symptoms, or untreated severe mental illness. Individuals who are seeking medical detoxification or intensive substance use treatment should pursue those services prior to joining the group.

A GRIEF & LOSS SUPPORT GROUP FOR INDIVIDUALS 18+ NAVIGATING THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE.

Through the Waves is a guided 4-week grief & loss support group for adults ages 18+ navigating grief and loss. Together, we’ll explore how to stay present through pain, build tools for emotional grounding, and find connection in shared experience.

Details:

🕯️ 4-week group

🕰️ Weekly 75-minute sessions 7:00pm-8:15pm

💰 Price: $40 per session for existing Marra clients, $135 enrollment fee for new patients

📍Virtual (via Google Meet)

Please note:
Those experiencing perinatal loss, acute crisis, active suicidal ideation, or untreated severe mental illness may be referred to individual therapy or specialized care prior to joining the group.
