Areas of Focus
As a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed therapist, I provide inclusive mental health therapy for clients from all backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I believe our identities, culture, and lived experiences are essential to the healing process, and I strive to make therapy a safe, affirming, and empowering space. I provide therapy for adults and adolescents (ages 12+) with respect for their unique identities, values, and cultural experiences.
I specialize in working with women, adolescents, and BIPOC communities—particularly the Latine community. I am passionate about supporting clients through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, identity exploration, and trauma.
Having been both a client and a therapist, I deeply value the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens in connection and that therapy can be both corrective and transformative. While I may not have all the answers, I will collaborate with you to discover what works best for your healing and growth. My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to be emotionally open, vulnerable, and your authentic self. I understand that healing is not linear—it is a lifelong journey with many phases. There is no “one right way,” and I will meet you exactly where you are.
I use an eclectic, integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs, drawing from Traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based therapy, Trauma-informed therapy, Strengths-based and culturally responsive practices.
If you’re looking for a warm, inclusive, and empowering therapist who understands the importance of culture, identity, and authentic connection, I would be honored to support you on your healing journey. I am committed to ongoing growth as a therapist and am working to become bilingual in Spanish to better serve the Latine community.
